CSD file

CSD is the embroidery format of the Singer POEM, Viking Huskygram and Elna embroidery units from the 1990s.

What is a CSD file?

CSD is the stitch format of the small embroidery units sold as Singer POEM, Husqvarna Viking Huskygram and under the Elna name in the 1990s. Many older design collections still exist in this format.

Features & use

  • Used by POEM, Huskygram and compatible units.
  • Stitch data with color changes.
  • No longer written by current machines.

Notes

  • To use CSD designs on a modern machine, convert them to the machine’s format, for example PES or VP3.
  • Preview images are usually missing; emborado generates them from the stitch data.
