What is a TBF file?
TBF is a stitch format of Tajima embroidery machines. It stores stitch commands like DST and is written by Tajima software and some digitizing programs for Tajima machines.
Features & use
- Used on Tajima commercial machines next to DST.
- Stitch data only, no design objects.
- Supported by Wilcom, Embird and other commercial software.
Notes
- DST remains the universal exchange format; TBF is mainly used within the Tajima ecosystem.
- Thread colors are usually assigned on the machine.
