At first glance, you might think that emborado is simply a place where embroidery files are stored.

In reality, the emborado Manager goes much further than that. In the background, your files are interpreted visually and contextually so that later you can find them not only through file names or folder structures, but also through what is actually shown in the designs.

A simple way to imagine this is as if someone were continuously describing what appears in your embroidery designs for you. This additional layer is exactly what makes content-based search possible in the first place.

This is not a one-time task, but an ongoing service. New files have to be processed. Results are improved. Features are expanded. That is exactly why emborado cannot be compared to traditional local software that you buy once and then use unchanged.

On top of that, there is currently no tool that provides this kind of service locally on your own devices in the same way.
