What is an Applique Stitch?
An applique stitch refers to a technique where a piece of fabric or other material is applied onto a base fabric or garment and subsequently secured by embroidery or sewing stitches. In machine embroidery, the process may include automated steps for placement, securing, trimming the applique fabric and final stitching.
